The department aims at enhancing the aesthetic understanding of students and flourishing them into sensible and responsible citizens through the study of literature,envisaging a creative environment by promoting an ambience of learning and research and facilitating interactions on contemporary literature and folk literary tradition of Chhattisgarh region.
